The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has launched a special bus service for women on three routes. The transport body had tried to introduce the special bus service for women a few years ago, but it failed due to low response. Hence, School students are also allowed in this bus to get maximum income from the service. The PMPML authorities also informed that the conductors for these buses will also be women. Bus will operate on Hadapsar-Swargate, Katraj-Swargate and Dhayari-Swargate routes.
