Work for about 16 smaller bridges in rural parts of Pune district is expected to begin soon. The bridges are builded on smaller streams, rivers and water bodies. The bridges are planned in Indapur, Daund, Baramati, Bhor and Haveli areas. Administration said, The road works on both side of water bodies are already underway. We were awaiting further clearances to begin works for construction of the bridges
The bridges would strengthen road network in rural parts. Daily commuting in rural areas would become easy now as the bridges across the water bodies would reduce journey time.
