It’s that time again! Now in its seventh year, the global Earth Hour event continues to spread awareness about climate change and encourage communities to take action. Though turning off all the lights in your house for one hour won’t stop climate change, the act of turning off the lights is about more than just conserving energy.
On the fifth year of “India Earth Hour 2013”, www.Icare4Pune.com is associated with “World Wildlife Fund – India” as Principal Facilitator for this noble environmental cause for Pune region.
‘Icare4Pune’ an organization working for social welfare is coordinating this event in city, which will take place on Saturday 23 March between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm. The event will encourage households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour. As of now Team ICare4Pune has distributed more than 40K EHPF targeting various schools in and around Pune. We have urged students to conserve energy by switching off non essential lights.
