Farmer Gopal Kadam and Bapu Kadam have grown pomegranates in recent drought-like condition. Their farm is in barren land .They have Farm pond from which they supply water to the crop by drip irrigation. 55 lakh liter of water can be stored in this farm pond and 25 lakh liters is still left in pond. Kadam say, 25 lakh liters of water is sufficient to crops for three months. The Farm pond is built in such way that water can be supplied to crops using siphon technique without electricity. Drip- irrigation technique helps managing crops in limited water supply. Along with pomegranate, tomato and brinjal crops are also grown in farm.
